I think Michael Shannon is certainly one of North america's greatest living actors, and having finally seen 'The Shape of Water', his performance made me think he'd make a fantastic villain for Bond 25- he is physically imposing, he can act menacing, but always brings either a manic or droll sense of sinister humour to whatever role he plays (a broad spectrum from Premium Rush to The Shape of Water) In a way, he could bring to the classic Bond villains something fresh like Javier Bardem did to Silva. Also, it'd become incredible to find Michael Shannon hamming it up in a Danny Boyle film!
